NARUTO DIES!!!         

              Naruto dies my butt…Oh, wait, I mean, I’m so sad…and he’s so dead. *Starts bawling* Oh how I wish he could’ve survived this crude excuse of a psychological thriller (confusion/mystery/hidden truth that makes it all come together). Saying that, you must be a little discouraged when hearing a word that has more letters than ‘Rasengan’ and that it wasn’t all great. But what Naruto movie is great? Nevertheless, it had some entertaining moments, but it was too short, that’s for sure. It needed more background, like for the villians. But we did get to learn that the Naruto world is much larger than 10 countries, Tsunade showed a map showing the Swamp Country and the Demon Country, surrounded by many others that didn’t include any of our known countries/villages. Which is great, we now know that you can’t jump from trees and go around the world in five days like it would’ve seemed before…Okay, so here’s the deal: A Priestess of the demon country, Shion, must seal the evil demon…Morouyo (>sp? don’t care) because he can take over the world with his army of ghosts! (Big stone dudes) Shion can fortell the deaths of people around her, but only people close to her, so people try to stay as far away as possible from her, usual sad childhood which Naruto can relate to. Naruto, Sakura, Neji, and Lee must protect and escort her to the demon so she can seal him. The rest is for you to find out, but I’ll make it easy for you.      As Naruto continues his Wind element nature manipulation training, he learnes just how serious it is, and notices the difficulty of cutting even a leaf. After a period of training to no avail, Naruto seeks help from Asuma, one of the few other Wind-natured shinobi in Konoha. Asuma agrees to give Naruto some tips, but only if he treats his squad after their next mission. Asuma shows how he can make a blade cut right through a tree and even into a rock, just by throwing it. He explains the principles of chakra movement to create the sharpness of the Wind element. Naruto thanks Asuma and returns to training, where the clones receive the tips from Asuma. Sure enough, one by one, they begin to cut the leaves, little by little. Naruto is exhausted, but finally manages to cut a leaf through. After some rest, the old team Asuma-that’s right, Time-Skip Shikamaru, Chouji, and Ino-head out on a mission. Team Kakashi (minus Kakashi) head out on a mission as well. Naruto is eager to return to his training, and wants to accomplish the mission as fast as possible. Little does he know, he was sent out for his safety, as there has been a commotion in this Shinobi world. Is it Akatsuki? Or something else…

WARNING: This new arc will mark the beginning of Naruto’s growth, but it is also a FILLER arc. That’s right my friends, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN FILLER IS HERE. Because, come on, we’re practically ahead of the manga, right? With our anime speed, we’ll break the sound barrier. I’m beginning to feel sorry for Naruto, his anime self is being transformed into just a spikey-haired prostitute that his producers pimp to make the show as many decades long as they would like. Please my friends, jump in the water with me, and drown in sympathy for our filler-infested friend!!!

     I’d like to get some screenshots, but I’m not exactly sure where to find any/how to get some easily. Help or advice on this topic would be appreciated!

Summary: Well, I guess it’s time to get down to business. Kakashi is ready to train Naruto, but he doesn’t have much time; he knows Akatsuki is on the move. Kakashi explains the principles of Shape Manipulation (which Naruto already has down, thanks to his Rasengan) and Nature Manipulation. But before they can work on a new “ultimate ninjutsu” for Naruto combining the two manipulations, Naruto must learn his chakra nature orientation. Kakashi pulls out a few pieces of ’chakra paper’ which will respond to chakra. The cards will respond accordingly to the element of chakra that flows through it. It will represent it’s chakra through the following transfigurations: Fire – burn, Wind – Cut, Thunder – Crumple, Earth – Crumble, Water – Moisten. Naruto’s paper cuts, indicating that he is Wind element-natured. Yamato arrives and begins explaining how chakra elements can be combined to create new sub-elements (in his case, he mixes Earth (base-element) and Water (base-element) to form Wood (sub element). Naruto’s card slices in helf, indicating he is Wind natured. Once the explination is complete Kakashi shows Naruto that a Shadow Clone will immediately return any knowledge gained to the original body of the user, thus showing the foundation of this training. With this return of skill and knowledge to Naruto, he can complete his training in a fraction of the time (corresponding with the number of clones he has active) that it would take to do alone. For example: 2 day training ~ 2 Narutos (1 clone+Naruto). 1 Naruto = 2 days, 2 Narutos = 1 day/each. 1 day ~ 1 Naruto, 1 day ~ 1 Naruto + 1/2 Time. Get it? Good. Naruto uses his Mass Shadow Clone Jutsu and begins his training. He has already began to accomplish his first part: Slicing a leaf in half using chakra.

Thoughts: Well, things seem to be going pretty smooth for Naruto, right? Faster training, and he’s already beginning to cut things with his new Wind chakra. He should be strong in no time, right? Spoiler: WRONG. You’ll just have to find out what happens on the 56th episode of Naruto Shippuden on Thursday, April 24th.

      The tale of the blond, spiky-haired, energetic Naruto! Naruto is a young ninja growing up in the shinobi world. He was long resented by his village in his childhood because his father, Minato Namikaze (a.k.a. the Fourth Hokage), sealed the Kyuubi No Yoko inside of him. The Kyuubi had attacked the Hidden Leaf Village shortly after Naruto’s birth. But after twelve long years of lonliness, Naruto graduated from the Ninja Academy with the inspiration of his supporting teacher, Iruka. Naruto was then placed under Kakashi Hatake, along with Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha. Sakura was at the top of her class, and was very beautiful. This combination gave her an ego over Naruto, who had a crush on her. Sasuke discended from the famous Uchiha clan, he was the most skilled student in his class, and would soon awaken his bloodline limit, the Sharingan. Sasuke was the ultimate rival of Naruto, as Naruto was very envious of Sasuke’s skill and the attention he recieved. As the team begins their missions as shinobi, the team encounters Zabuza and Haku. Facing these two ‘Missing-Nin,’ they learned that Kakashi was able to use the Sharingan in his left eye. Protecting Naruto from Haku, Sasuke awakens his Sharingan. Though this feat, Sasuke is defeated. In sorrow over Sasuke’s appearent death, the Kyuubi’s seal in Naruto is weakened by his anger. Naruto defeats Haku using the Kyuubi’s chakra, and nearly kills him, but before Haku is prepared to die by Naruto, he protects Zabuza from Kakashi’s thunder technique, Raikiri. There, Haku and Zabuza die together. After the team returns to the village, they learn that they are going to enter the Chunin Exams. They do, and during this time, they encounter the evil Sannin Orochimaru, who gives the Curse Mark of Heaven, a mark that gives him evil power. At the final battles of the exams, Naruto defeats Neji, of the famous Hyuuga clan. Sasuke battles Gaara of the Sand, but during this battle, an attack on the Leaf begins. Here, the third Hokage is killed by Orochimaru, and Naruto learns that Gaara is just like him, with the One-Tailed Bijuu (demon), Shukaku. Dispite this, Naruto is able to take on Gaara, and Gaara finds new respect for Naruto, his siblings, and love. Naruto then goes with Jiraiya, a Sannin who had trained him for the Chunin Exam finals, in search of the Leaf’s next Hokage, Tsunade. She is the last of the three Sannin, and possibly the world’s greatest medical ninja. But in this seach, Sasuke’s older brother Itachi, confronts Naruto in the name of Akatsuki, to exploit the demon power within him. Itachi was the person, or one of the people, who murdered the entire clan, mind Sasuke. Sasuke has detested Itachi for this his entire life, and goes to attempt to avenge his clan there. But upon confronting him, Itachi defeats him barely trying, mocking Sasuke’s lack of growth. Naruto and Jiraiya barely escape with Sasuke. Sasuke is returned home by Might Gai. Naruto and Jiraiya try to persuade Tsunade to become the next Hokage. At the same time, Orochimaru attempts to bribe Tsunade to heal his arms that were sealed away by the Third. She finally chooses to be the Hokage, and she and Jiraiya begin a fight of the Sannins. Tsunade and the rest return to the leaf, where she becomes the Hokage. Meanwhile, Sasuke is enraged at the gap of power between him and Itachi, and challenges Naruto to a fight. Just before the two clash with their strongest jutsus, Sasuke-Chidori, and Naruto-Rasengan, Kakashi stops them. Later in the day, Orochimaru’s Sound Four visits Sasuke, and persuades him to come to Orochimaru, there he can gain power to kill Itachi. Sasuke thinks about this, and accepts it. Sasukra attempts to stop Sasuke, but he tells her his path is different from her. The morning after, Shikamaru is assinged to form a team to retrieve Sasuke. He gathers Naruto, Chouji, Kiba, and Neji. They all moved out and began their persuit of Sasuke. Each team menber battles their respective sound four, Chouji-Jirobo, Neji-Kidomaru, Kiba-Sakon&Ukon, Shikamaru-Tayuya. The former contain for Orochimaru’s body, Kimimaro, arrives, and Naruto fights him for a short time. Then, Sasuke breaks out of his ‘coffin,’ only to resume his quest to Orochimaru. Naruto despreatley attempts to return Sasuke, but Kimimaro gets in the way. Then, Rock Lee appears and takes on Kimimaro, but cannot defeat him. And as Kiba, Shikamaru, and Lee are about to be defeated, when the Sand Three show up, Kankuro, Temari, and Gaara. Naruto catches up to Sasuke at the valley of the end. There, Naruto awakens his one-tailed armour of the Kyuubi’s chakra, and Sasuke awakens his level two curse mark. They hit each other with the final attack, Sasuke’s Flapping Thousand Birds (Chidori) and Naruto’s Kyuubi Rasengan. Naruto is defeated, and Sasuke leaves to Orochimaru to gain power. Kakashi tries to stop the terrible fight, only to find he is too late. He brings Naruto back to the village, and Naruto is heartbroken that he could not save his friend. But he is determened to train until he can bring back Sasuke. Naruto completes missions with his comrades, and then leaves with Jiraiya to train to protect himself from the growing power of Akatsuki. The rest of the story is left for Shippuden…

FLCL, better known as Fooley Cooley (Japanese: Furi Kuri). A fantastic anime in my opinion, a great one if you have nothing better to do. It teaches the lesson of growing up and losing the childish view of life.

A provocative anime (and manga) about a high school student named Naota Nanbada. He lives his boring teenage life in his boring and psychologically isolated town of Mabase…that is, until a beautiful alien woman who goes by the name of Haruko Haruhara comes. She is in search of the alien pirate Atmost. Naota is with his dark and mysterious girlfriend Mamimi Samejima when Haruko comes racing down the street with a Vespa scooter and slams her alien guitar (bass, but who cares?) against Naota’s head. After the incident, Naota learns that Haruko has now become his family(his father, grandfather, and himself)’s house maid. Naota also see a strange bump on his head where it was hit by Haruko. This bump grows, and grows, and grows, until one night on the bridge…two robots burst out of his head. One of these robots protects Naota, and befriends him, and is later dubbed “Canti” by Haruko. Metal Mechanica, Atmosk, and Haruko are in a three way war with one another, and Naota’s caught right in the crossfire. Although it is short (6 episodes short) it is full action, excitement, and adventure. It has many references to other animes and music, along with unnecessary product placement such as references to: Pepsi, South Park, Lupin III, Shin Chan, Elvis Presley and others. It’s like a grenade of awesome anime that explodes in your face “ptsssskahhhhglglglg.” Yeah, like that. Take a look sometime, you’ll like it.
