     As Naruto continues his Wind element nature manipulation training, he learnes just how serious it is, and notices the difficulty of cutting even a leaf. After a period of training to no avail, Naruto seeks help from Asuma, one of the few other Wind-natured shinobi in Konoha. Asuma agrees to give Naruto some tips, but only if he treats his squad after their next mission. Asuma shows how he can make a blade cut right through a tree and even into a rock, just by throwing it. He explains the principles of chakra movement to create the sharpness of the Wind element. Naruto thanks Asuma and returns to training, where the clones receive the tips from Asuma. Sure enough, one by one, they begin to cut the leaves, little by little. Naruto is exhausted, but finally manages to cut a leaf through. After some rest, the old team Asuma-that’s right, Time-Skip Shikamaru, Chouji, and Ino-head out on a mission. Team Kakashi (minus Kakashi) head out on a mission as well. Naruto is eager to return to his training, and wants to accomplish the mission as fast as possible. Little does he know, he was sent out for his safety, as there has been a commotion in this Shinobi world. Is it Akatsuki? Or something else…

WARNING: This new arc will mark the beginning of Naruto’s growth, but it is also a FILLER arc. That’s right my friends, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN FILLER IS HERE. Because, come on, we’re practically ahead of the manga, right? With our anime speed, we’ll break the sound barrier. I’m beginning to feel sorry for Naruto, his anime self is being transformed into just a spikey-haired prostitute that his producers pimp to make the show as many decades long as they would like. Please my friends, jump in the water with me, and drown in sympathy for our filler-infested friend!!!

     I’d like to get some screenshots, but I’m not exactly sure where to find any/how to get some easily. Help or advice on this topic would be appreciated!

Summary: Well, I guess it’s time to get down to business. Kakashi is ready to train Naruto, but he doesn’t have much time; he knows Akatsuki is on the move. Kakashi explains the principles of Shape Manipulation (which Naruto already has down, thanks to his Rasengan) and Nature Manipulation. But before they can work on a new “ultimate ninjutsu” for Naruto combining the two manipulations, Naruto must learn his chakra nature orientation. Kakashi pulls out a few pieces of ’chakra paper’ which will respond to chakra. The cards will respond accordingly to the element of chakra that flows through it. It will represent it’s chakra through the following transfigurations: Fire - burn, Wind - Cut, Thunder - Crumple, Earth - Crumble, Water - Moisten. Naruto’s paper cuts, indicating that he is Wind element-natured. Yamato arrives and begins explaining how chakra elements can be combined to create new sub-elements (in his case, he mixes Earth (base-element) and Water (base-element) to form Wood (sub element). Naruto’s card slices in helf, indicating he is Wind natured. Once the explination is complete Kakashi shows Naruto that a Shadow Clone will immediately return any knowledge gained to the original body of the user, thus showing the foundation of this training. With this return of skill and knowledge to Naruto, he can complete his training in a fraction of the time (corresponding with the number of clones he has active) that it would take to do alone. For example: 2 day training ~ 2 Narutos (1 clone+Naruto). 1 Naruto = 2 days, 2 Narutos = 1 day/each. 1 day ~ 1 Naruto, 1 day ~ 1 Naruto + 1/2 Time. Get it? Good. Naruto uses his Mass Shadow Clone Jutsu and begins his training. He has already began to accomplish his first part: Slicing a leaf in half using chakra.

Thoughts: Well, things seem to be going pretty smooth for Naruto, right? Faster training, and he’s already beginning to cut things with his new Wind chakra. He should be strong in no time, right? Spoiler: WRONG. You’ll just have to find out what happens on the 56th episode of Naruto Shippuden on Thursday, April 24th.
